daily life...

So this last week, Laura has just had the growl that sounds like
it hurts. I think she's frustrated, but I also think she is growing
again. So we are trying to divert attention and keep her happy.
Seemed to be interested in a Barbie movie....everyone pray it
works out.:)
Laura will be the disco queen for Dress Up Day, Friday, the 3rd at
Gale Elem. The HS band has a website now! www.dressup2cure.org/
cfhsband. Looking to raise
$1000!!! I'm thrilled, surprised, and just in awe at these kids.
Our Art Show/Steel concert was cancelled, but we have rescheduled
for April 7th. We have gained more artwork to be sold and let's hope
our audience will still be there.
We had Laura's IEP meeting today. Seemed very good and thorough.
Her teachers are really trying to work with her and to improve her skills.
Starting to use the eye gaze more supplemented with pictures and lots of
choice making; at which she is doing really well. Laura is even starting to
make the choice of where she wants to walk. If you head the wrong way,
look out! she will let you know.
